Christmas Cookies

Last year my three year old gave jars of home made fudge as Christmas gifts.

The fudge was scrumptious and gratefully received but to be honest she didn't get to help much with the making.

You can't really have a small child hanging over a hot stove for too long.

As she loves to bake, I thought it would be much nicer for her to give cookies or, as my mum quite rightly insists we Brits should call them, biscuits.

And as cookies qualify as no stress cooking in my mind, I am quite happy to whip up separate batches for the kids and the grown ups.

And if time allows even some yummy low GI ones for the various diabetics in the family.

We've not decided what we're making yet but we're mulling over all these scrumptious recipes ... if you're planning to make your own Christmas cookies I'm sure you'll find inspiration too ...
